Create a Joomla Website in 4 Steps

The following 4 videos will show you step-by-step how to set up a Joomla website. Click on the title to download the video.  Video size is in [brackets].

Step 1: Install WAMP [530KB]

WAMP stands for Windows, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.  It enables us to create a website locally withou the need of an Interconnection.  You upload you website to your ISP when it finished and you are satisfied. You can download WAMP at the following address:

Step 2: Create a Folder [510KB]

The folder will contain the files that makes Joomla work.

Step 3: Copy the Joomla files [2MB]

The Joomla files must be copied to the folder that was created.  In the video you will see the zipped Joomla file and a folder with the extracted files.

Step 4: Configure Joomla [2.7MB]

Once the files have been copied it is time to configure Joomla.

At the end you will click on site and your website will have been created with sample content
